-SAVE TENZIN DELEK RINPOCHE'S LIFE-

Day Eight:
From:
Lake Village, IN (20 miles to Cedar Lake)
To: Outskirts of Cedar Lake, IN (Home of Hanover Central)

Distance: 11 Miles
Topography: I THINK WE HAVE THIS ONE COVERED BY NOW.

Weather: -A Call To Arms-
"Tenzin is falling
down to his knees
His leg is crumbling down
It's raining here in Cedar Lake
50 miles south
Where you should be
but no one's around.

I need a blessing,
I need a rain coat,
I need a big love,
I need a blessing.

These tractor Trailers
Keep passing me by
But I still have plenty to say.
You get what you pay for
But I just had no
Intention
of living this way.

I need a blessing,
I need yak ride,
I need a Tibetan sunburn,
I need a raincoat,

But I get no answersŠ
I don't get NO change!
It's raining in Chicago,
But everything in Tibet is the same.

This Walk I'll remember
And the nightmares,
hope I'll forget
I miss you, my country
Guess that I should

18,000 miles away
What would you change if you could?

I need a blessing.
Maybe I should buy a new car.
I can always hear the 'Ghalou'
When I listen real hard.
And I wish,
And I wish,
And I wish this world would help us
'Cause I'm lonely for my hometown.
I'd like to hear a little 'Damngay'
Guess it's time to put my hood on

I need a blessing
I need a rain coat
Really need a raincoat
Really, really need a raincoat
Really, really, really need a raincoat
Really need a raincoat"

Quote of Day: "I'm a senior and I just wanted to say that this was the best presentation I have ever seen here at Hanover. Everyone was listening, you had everyone's attention. It never happened like that before. Thank you so much for coming here today."

"I've been beaten, choked, kicked, lied to, swindled, taken advantage of, and laughed at. The only reason I hang around is to see WHAT GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT!!!"
