On March 10, 1998 the fourth "March for Tibet's Independence" began
in Portland, Oregon. So far, the walkers have covered 252 miles
of the 360 miles to Vancouver, British Columbia.
As the end of this 45-day walk draws near, we invite everyone to
begin planning to join us in Vancouver, British Columbia on April
25th. April 25th is the 9th Birthday of Gendhun Choekyi Nyima, the
missing Panchen Lama. We hope that 1000's of Tibet Supporters will
stand with us at The PRC Consulate at the conclusion of the walk
displaying Tibetan Flags and advocating for the release of the world's
youngest political prisoner, Gendhun Choekyi Nyima.
