Thursday, June 22nd, 2000:
We started off at the Federal Building and spent most of the day walking through Beverly Hills and West Hollywood -- past Rodeo Drive and along Melrose Ave., both famous for different styles of shopping! We spent some time chanting slogans outside of City Hall.
We then reached another famous street, Hollywood Blvd., past years worth of Hollywood stars engraved on the pavement. After the show we put on in front of Mann's Chinese Theater, we all deserved a star too! The theater is designed to look like a traditional Chinese theater, and holds premiers of big Hollywood flicks. It is a popular tourist spot, which means that we reached a huge number of people, many of whom were Asian. Dinner was hosted by Linda Post at her lovely home.
